Helloooooo dearies!  (you gotta say it like Mrs. Doubtfire)

I’m Roxie.  Christian, proud Canadian, sugar addict, morning person, unashamed Backstreet Boys fan and crossword enthusiast.  I love Disney and old musicals (as long as they’re not in black and white), but I also love true crime podcasts and shows about serial killers.  I can recite all of the lines from Elevation Worship/Steven Furtick’s Evidence, but I can also rap all of the lyrics to Snoop Dogg’s Ain’t No Fun.  I’m a Christian, but I’ve got a testimony!  When I laugh really hard, I cry.  I believe everything is better when turned into a dance party and I still sing into a hairbrush.  With me, what you see is what you get!  I’ve been told before that I’m an iron fist in a velvet glove and I actually think that’s a great compliment – and bodes well for this blog!

I have diplomas in Business Admin, Esthetics, Make Up Artistry and various certificates in Addiction Studies.  I spent 8 years volunteering at a rehab/recovery-type organization, I’m currently a volunteer pen pal for a prison ministry and from Monday to Friday, you can find me working in an office!
